Arlington Southwest Little League

Because it's about so much more than baseball

Need a badge?

The league requires that all adult volunteers who interact with the players and/or require/want field access to have passed a background check and have, in their possession and visible, a current picture badge—but how do you get one?

Log in to your account—the same account you created to register your player.  Then register yourself as a coach—don’t worry if you really don’t want to coach—this will force the system to initiate the process for the background check.  You will receive an e mail from the LL provider that has a link for you to fill out your information for the check.  You will also be asked to upload a picture into the software—please read the picture requirements so that there is no delay.

Once the background check comes back (it can take an hour or it might take as long as a week)—the provider will send an e mail telling you that the background check has been approved.  We will then produce the badge.  Badges are available for pick up from your manager.  It’s always a good idea to check to make sure that your badge is ready by emailing [email protected].

Badges are good for the entire calendar year, so if you had a badge in the Spring, it is still valid for the Fall—just note that we change the color of the badge each year so that we can quickly identify what might be an out of date badge.  Everyone must register for each season in the software whether your badge is current or not.  Badges produced in the Fall are only current for that Fall season as we will produce new badges the next year.

By law, minors are not allowed to apply for the background checks—so no badges will be issued to any minors with the exception of junior umpires.
